Yasmine Woo

Principal

Yasmine has spent over nine years investing in infrastructure across Europe, Australia, and the United States, spanning core, core+, and value-add strategies.

Across her career, she has been directly involved in more than a dozen investments representing approximately $800 million of equity invested and $3.3 billion of enterprise value, with a focus on capital-intensive businesses requiring complex structuring and active ownership.

Prior to joining Lieef, Yasmine was a Vice President at Spring Lane Capital, where she focused on sustainability-driven infrastructure investments in the “missing middle,” providing growth capital to early- and expansion-stage companies.

Prior to Spring Lane Capital, Yasmine was an investment professional at Basalt Infrastructure Partners, where she played a key role in platform-level investing and active ownership initiatives. Most notably, she helped build a modern LNG carrier platform alongside a leading vessel operator, scaling the business from approximately $800 million to $1.5 billion of enterprise value through accretive bolt-on acquisitions.

Yasmine began her career at Macquarie following its acquisition of the Green Investment Bank in Scotland, the world’s first dedicated green bank. There, she supported project financings and transactions totaling several hundred million dollars across renewable energy and waste-to-energy assets in Europe and Australia.

In addition to investing, Yasmine has been active in building the teams and communities around her work. She has lived and worked in five countries, has been based in the United States since 2022, and has led initiatives including Basalt’s first U.S. corporate volunteering program supporting oyster reef restoration in New York Harbor.

Yasmine holds a Master’s in Finance from IE Business School in Spain and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the School of Business and Engineering Vaud (HEIG-VD).
